HIMP Heritage Information Management Package is a personal
initiative of conservation architects Krupa Rajangam and Pankaj Modi of Saythu . It is a 3d web
based GIS application that aids conservation and management of heritage sites.
An outcome of over a decade of working with state and national conservation organisations in India, it was conceptualised by Pankaj
and Krupa and then developed in partnership with RSI Softech.
HIMP marks Saythu's commitment to incorporating technology in the conservation
process. Hence they successfully developed and demonstrated it to state (Hindu Endowment Board), national (Archaeological Survey of India)
and international heritage organisations (World Monuments Fund) without awaiting external funding.
